Damage to fibre optic cable / connection

Please be aware that the F4RN responsibility extends only as a far as the boundary to your property.   It is the householder’s responsibility to get the duct from the boundary of their property to their house wall.  We can only offer a world class service fibre optic broadband service at this price if each household helps, or finds friends/neighbours to help with the installation. No other company can install a service anything like this at anything like this price…

However – this means that we have to charge to repair any damage to the fibre optic cable where it runs from the F4RN core network to your property.

The call-out charge is currently £48 (including VAT) and this covers any work carried during the first hour.    If the fault takes longer than this to repair then we will agree a price with you before continuing.

We’re sure that you will understand why this is necessary – hopefully there won’t be that many repairs  to do and it’s still a lot cheaper than the competition!
